Route 1.- 5-hour trek directly to the Oasis. – This trek is for people who do not want to walk a lot and want to fully enjoy the pool and nature in the oasis.
Route 2.- Trek of 7 hours, passing through the town of Llatica until reaching the Oasis. This trek is for people who like to sweat and get to know an unvisited part of the Colca Canyon (town of Llatica). You sleep in the oasis in typical bamboo cabins.
Route 3.- Trek of 11 hours, walking through the town of Fure, Huaruro waterfall-town of Fure-Oasis.
This is a super trek we call it the COLCA TREK MACHO.
To do it you need to be in very good physical condition and be a little crazy.
This trek is for people who like to push themselves to the maximum physically and see unvisited places in this canyon.
For people who do not want to walk so much this day and want to visit the Huaruro waterfall, we can add one more day to the program and spend the night in Fure and thus we can do a 4-day non-classical Colca trek in the Colca canyon.
Route 4.- 8-hour trek, this trek in the Colca Canyon unites the two parts of the canyon: The non-classical part and the classic part. It is a trekking through the entire Colca canyon.
This trek is for people who like to do something different, but at the same time not miss out on the classic.
This route is the preferred option for our clients since there is not much climbing.
During the 8 hours of trek there are only two hours of climbing.
In this option we sleep in the Oasis in typical bamboo cabins.
You walk 2 hours uphill to the Apacheta viewpoint then flat 2-3 hours to Malata Coshñirhua.
1 hour descent to San Juan de Chuccho lunch
After lunch, the trek to the Oasis begins, 1 hour up and 1 hour down.
Total 8 hours
In all the options we sleep in the oasis
We started the trek at 4am to avoid 38 degrees Celsius on the way up.
This trek has a duration of 3-4 hours of ascent
